Don't forget that the DS was also launched less than three and a half years after the GBA.  If that had happened with the 3DS it would have been smack dab in the middle of the biggest year for the DS.  Pretty sure even less people would have wanted to be upgrading to new hardware back then.  After all, almost one third of the GBA sales at the time had been in the year before the DS release.

There have been some adjustments in the software sales because i know last week the 360 had hit an attach ratio of 11.00 in America and now it's 10.19?

So it looks like PS3 was adjusted up in EMEAA and in US while 360 was adjusted down just in US? Can anyone else help clear this up?

I don't know if this was the case in other countries, but the media in the UK gave the 3DS some seriously bad coverage. Far worse than the TV-breaking Wii cases - it was all over the newspapers, and even in BBC Watchdog.

DS in EMEEA in its third week, and it launched at 305k in the whole Europe (3DS launched at 303k)...it's the third time I'm posting old data to show 3DS is doing in line with previous consoles, how about looking at past sales before commenting positively or negatively?

Whats the lowest each console has gotten in EMEAA?

I'll have to do some research but IIRC 360 was really languishing in EMEAA throughout 2006. I think it fell to about 15k.

That's crazy low! The worst I have ever seen the Wii do is what it is doing right now, the worst I've ever seen the 360 (that I remember) is 34k or somethin, and for Playstation the worst I remember seeing is around 45k.

For all the haters of 3DS (Note that I do not have one myself); it is due to lack of software! It WILL pick up grealty over time (look at my friend the PS3). I'm sure sales will drop till holidays and then will SKYROCKET
