Actually, I've come to the realization that it was PS2 that had all the DDR I ever wanted.

Suuuure. Only because you're thin now. You use things up and discard them, just like you did with me!

kinda dumb imo as this is just showing Kinect, if they wanted to do it on all movies they could...

This article may be axaggerated, but it's a fact that at the moment kinect is capable of one tenth of what was advertised still six months ago.

What did they say it was gonna do six months ago? Play motion games, let you go through some menus and yell some commands is about all I recall.

Milo
Halo reach
object scanning

Another amazing feature that Kinect promised back in 09 was the ability so ‘scan’ objects using the device, which could then be used inside whatever game you happened to be playing. A great idea in theory, and could have added a lot of depth to the Kinect platform. Unfortunately, when E3 2010 came around, there wasn’t a single mention of this feature and when asked about it in interviews, Microsoft employees remained vague about the issue. Consider it MIA.

@OT Kinect really hasnt bought anything mind blowing to the table, I can see why Nintendo and Sony turned this tech down

And even though I answered your questionable question you attempt to troll me by calling mafia noncontributory when I'm well aware of the fact. I play mafia for my own amusement.

Get over yourself, no trolling (you obviously don't even know what that means) or baiting from me.

You were complaining about the state of the forums on this site, and I'm commenting on the fact you're doing nothing to cure that, you're just adding fuel to the fire.

You were the one that mentioned Mafia, if you don't like the obvious answer don't mention it.

Add flaming.

Seriously, are you done derailing this thread yet? This ... is getting sad.

You really need to brush up on the rules, just cos you say I do something doesn't make it so

I've stayed on topic, there is only so much you can say about a crappy fanboy blog that has tons of false "facts" in it.

it could be a valid point after E3, if MS don't show diddly squat, but right now ... well. I wonder what motivated you to post this in the first place

But but don't people read current impressions for current features? I feel bad for the guy who has to wait after E3 to learn 2 month old news.

Twesterm's thread motivated me. Plus I thought the article was informative, biased, but informative. Unless you want to accuse me of something?

I must admit, all this attention I'm getting from you is exciting! I got to make Microsoft threads more often. I mean, I'm not interested, but the back 'n forth is making me feel really close to you.

This conversation amuses me.

Anyway, I'm glad I didn't go buy Kinect when it first came out and was bundled with the 360, but I feel like I'm still waiting for the good games to come out... *yawn*. The article, however crappy and biased and bashing it may be, has a truth in it. Kinect's functions are still a bit gimmicky. Sad.

As far as I know you can use object scanning in Kinectimals... soooo? dunno what your problem with kinect is...

Reach has been released... and Milo was a tech demo as far as we know, it was just showing you what kinect could do.
