Even if it's the PS1 version, hopefully we can use the PSP/PS3 option of speeding up the load times.  Isn't this game the one that was sold with Chrono Trigger?  If so, I think I shall jizz my pants.

*edit*  No.  It was Final Fantasy IV that was packed with Chrono Trigger.  Now I shall place the previously mentioned jizz back into its original container.  This may take a while......

The PS3 doesn't let you speed up load times :S

You're right.  It just lets you smooth the graphics a little.  I've actually never used my PS3 to play a PS1 game for more than a few seconds, though.  I usually download them and then port them straight to my PSP's memory stick.   At least that console will let me improve the load speeds of PS1 games.  I'll probably end up getting it and doing that.

Yeah and that screen smoothing doesn't work on games you download from PSN.  Though it does work on cd based games (Makes 2D look pretty spiffy).

I hope it's an emulation of the SNES version and not the PS1 version.

The PS1 version was awful.

I personally hope it's the PS version of the game... With load times fixed.

Load times on the PS version are horrible ¬_¬

To be fair, it's only really horrible because of the ridiculous load times.  Still though, it better be the GbA version because that's by far the best version.

The soundtrack is a lot worse too if i recall correctly.  They screwed up the Midi work porting it over.

I completely forgot about that, oddly enough the SNES version had the best sound of them all I believe.

Yeah, though I wouldn't call it odd.  For all it's limitations... "bit sound" was distinctly videogame... and could stir emotion and such with it's simple rythems.

It was a real art.

Now a days... music compesition for games feels more like just trying to make a lesser classical music/movie music.

Feels like taking a step foward to take a step back.

*shrugs* well at least it sounds better (to me)
