I agree. The idea was it was supposed to be announced at the disaster-canceled Monster Hunter festa in Japan, but Captivate seems to be all about Western focused titles (and yet more about focus on the consoles)

Anyways, I'm, like, 99.99% sure Monster Hunter will go multiplatform for handhelds.

I'm sure of the same thing for home consoles next gen.

I'm pretty fuckin sure the rumor was that a Monster Hunter 3DS game was originally planned to be announced at some special event but that didn't happen due to the earthquake and hence the rumor said it will be instead announced at Captivate 2011... WHICH DIDN'T HAPPEN!

So whatever you were trying to say to me is completely irrelevant because I never said that a Monster Hunter 3DS won't happen nor did I say it will happen. I was simply commenting on what the rumor was and the fact that the rumor was false.
