What are they doing with all the money they make on the 10 and 20 million sellers that cost near nothing to make?

1. They don't cost nothing. That's a myth by people who want to put down those games.

2. They made and launched the 3DS. Plus they are still working on big games like Zelda.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

There's nothing in that line up from either Nintendo or the third parties that would entice anyone who doesn't already have one to buy a Wii.  I'm not aware of the HD line up, but I'm guessing Sony, Microsoft and various third parties have a string of titles that will see spikes in HD hardware sales.  The long droughts (in terms of compelling Wii titles) are starting to grate with me - I'm hoping for a downpour in the second half of the year (and if I was being optimisitic, I might see the Wii Play sequel as a sign that Nintendo have a string of WMPlus titles awaiting release), but I expect I'll be disappointed.

1. I said near nothing - as in a very small amount compared to other better games yet the revenue they produce is ten times greater

2. That's no excuse at all - Besides, 3DS isn't that much better off anyway, only one game and it's just a port/remake - - - - And Zelda SS was supposed to be released last year

Nintendo is literally the biggest videogame publisher on earth and arguably the best - This game lineup certainly does not reflect that one bit

They are at least pushing motion plus, though i expected at least Xenoblade too. Hopefully Xenoblade at least will pitch in Q3 with StarFox on the 3DS side, then a more stacked Q4

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

What do you think that costed more:

- Super Mario Galaxy 2 or NSMBWii?

- Monster Hunter Tri or Mario Kart Wii?

- Metroid or Wii Play?

- Zelda or Wii Fit?

You think the 3DS cost nothing to research and make? I still think it's not the right direction, but I don't think it was cheap.

See the bolded part. It's a false dichotomy that a game costs either AAA costs or near nothing.

Nintendo is clearly pulling back resources for a Wii 2.

I was hoping to see starfox this year as this would be the last 'real' year for the wii. Too bad.

I doubt their game development studios had anything to do with R&D/making the 3DS, maybe one or two of them were involved in 3DS firmware/OS/built in games - Otherwise, what is it about 3DS that leads you to believe that the device making itself hogged enough resources to nearly halt game develpement on all their other platforms?

Besides, as I already wrote, allegedly focusing on the 3DS is no excuse for the biggest publisher on earth to be in this type of situation - Last quarter was no better: http://features.metacritic.com/features/2011/25-best-wii-games/  sad
