well the drawing of the Versus guy is too small to see it properly
but to be honest, many characters in the series look quite alike

well my first language isn't english
so i don't know whether you use the word pretty for men or not
but if you don't
then just replace pretty where ever is said it with handsome

I've been called pretty before... As for the Versus guy. I'd say he was more boyish so "cute" would apply most if you were so inclined. From the trailer he doesn't have the same womanly cheekbones and his body is much more propotionate for a kid. I need Naztips to back me up here. But sociologically anatomically speaking there is a very big differnce from being handsome and being pretty as a guy.

Awesome. These FF13's charactors, so far, look like they have personality up the arse.

why all the ff hate? I think they look cool. very ff 7-esque mixed with 8, how could that be bad? But then agian its the cool thing to hate final fantasy anymore.

maybe thats why they hate it they dont want the sorta the same looking characters again

Oh, I don't hate Final Fantasy itself; I just hate Nomura's style and designs in general.  All the characters he comes up with look pretty much the same.  When you compare his body of work to that of his predecessor, the great Yoshitaka Amano, it just pales in comparison.  Heck, I'll even take Yoshida's stuff, Vaan notwithstanding.

Kid? The Versus guy isn't a kid.

No, he has more child like qualties though as far as his facial structure is though. It's still a little more "roundish". You can still be older and have childish qualties to your physiology and anatomy either way.
