I think images are too small on this site. We used to be able to post bigger images on this site before it was redesigned.

Now, if I want to post a 1920x1080 screenshot I have to make it something like 640x480 because only a small part of it will be displayed on the site if I don't and the other part of the image will be overlayed. I also have to give a direct link to the image so people can see it in another tab in its full resolution.

It would be a lot better if you allowed us to embed the images at their true resolution or at least at 1920x1200... after all the image size will be the same (size as in KBs/MBs/etc) if it's a 1920x1080 screenshot resized on the site all the way down to 640x480 so it doesn't even save bandwidth.

This small change would make this site a lot better for me.

I hope you can work on this and allow us to post 1920x1200 (or higher if you want) resolution images without resizing them down.

Thank you >_<

Why not post the full resolution image instead of having to click on it and open it in another window/tab?. What you did is basicaly the same as posting the link so the other user can open it in another tab/window... the only difference is that you're posting a little preview of the image.

This is an example of what I want to be able to do on VGChartz:

EDIT: Added a missing "?"

Also... look at that thread and imagine how many windows/tabs you'd have to open to view all images. That way you can just scroll down without having to do anything. It's a lot more convenient.

Thanks. I clicked the link and my internet exploded >___>

And that's one reason why thumbnails are better :P

LOL xD are you serious? Even I, living in Argentina and using a shitty 3MBs connection can see that thread without much trouble.

I think the real image is better than thumbnails... read my edit if you haven't to find the reason :P

Yeah. my internet sucks... :P

But with thumbnails you can easily load everything and only view the screenshots you want! While getting through all the useless ones...

Well, no one on this site really uses thumbnails anyways, they just resize the original image and your internet still has to load the same ammount of data.

This way we will at least be able to see the images in their full glory without having to click on the image to copy the url and paste it in another tab/window... or having to click on a thumbnail.

Anyways, thumbnails wouldn't be gone if this is implemented, they'd both coexist :P and threads with lots of images usually have a "56K warning" in the title so there's no problem.

This will just be another feature that will be added for those like me who want to use it and post bigger images :P

It would be nice to have higher resolution for pictures.
