Wait I thought this was an MS IP? How can it go multiplat? Unless you mean a PC version???

Remedy owns the IP.

On Topic: I thought the game itself was pretty meh. Especially the driving segments. If a sequel were to be released it would get the Uncharted/Gears of War treatment from me.

Edit: it should be noted that I didn't play the DLC

microsoft helped rememdy on it so it technically a microsoft ip

I hope Ms makes an exclusive contract (as Activions with Bungie) with Remedy for a couple years.....360 and future Box will need first party games and Remedy is a good developer to have

Of course there will be a sequel and I predict a reveal at this years E3.

I think one of the clues to this is how MS included Alan Wake in its holiday bundles this year.  They are trying to get as many people as possible exposed to the franchise to pave the way for the upcoming sequel.

Either way I'M STOKED.  Alan Wake is phenominal and with they way it, and the DLC ended the next game is going to be trippy, weird, and scarry as hell!!!

You said it! Just finished "The Writer" about a week ago. I cannot begin to express my excitement for a sequel. What you said pretty much sums it up.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

yea i got to hit up the DLC. finished the game and the story does get you on the edge of your seat like your watching a movie. Love a lot of games out there but there not Hollywood good. lauch it with a movie. I think this can turn out to be a good thriller.

Is this real?

I only played through parts of Alan Wake, but I thought it was really good.

I am very close to buying a new 360s, but I need more unique (exclusive) games to convince me.
