I think one of the clues to this is how MS included Alan Wake in its holiday bundles this year.  They are trying to get as many people as possible exposed to the franchise to pave the way for the upcoming sequel.

Either way I'M STOKED.  Alan Wake is phenominal and with they way it, and the DLC ended the next game is going to be trippy, weird, and scarry as hell!!!

You said it! Just finished "The Writer" about a week ago. I cannot begin to express my excitement for a sequel. What you said pretty much sums it up.

yea i got to hit up the DLC. finished the game and the story does get you on the edge of your seat like your watching a movie. Love a lot of games out there but there not Hollywood good. lauch it with a movie. I think this can turn out to be a good thriller.
