Not really, Namco Bandai owns 51% of the shares, SCE owns the remaining 49% I think you can better name it second party.

Afrika, The Agency, Buzz!, Chain Limit, Eight Days, The Getaway 3, God Of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, new Jak & Daxter (The Lost Frontier?), Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm 2 , next Ratchet & Clank, Resistance 2, Socom: Confrontation, Uncharted 2, and that's about it I think.

The big-guns are about to release for 2008 and beyond, and the PS3 is only 8 million units away from the Xbox 360. PS3 can catch up with the Xbox 360 only if the software is out though.

Sony has released enough games, they just haven't released enough good games or enough games that will sell well. Sony has released 15 games and 2 of which have sold more than 250,000 copies in North America, in comparison Nintendo has released 16 games of which 12 have sold more than 250,000 copies in North America.

The problem is that the exclusives games are costing a lot of money and not lighting up the charts. For the price of Lair, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted, Nintendo can probably make 10 games. And those 10 games will sell 10 times as much.

Can Sony use that excuse when explaining to their stock holders why they're losing money? Can Sony use that excuse when third party franchises pass them up? Can Sony use that excuse when they post their yearly financial report?

If not, then its not a valid argument. The Price is Sony's fault, not the consumers and not a handicap that can be factored into the final score like this is a game of golf.

Price is what is making PS3 fail miserably. Its Sony fault for using all those components in the system.
