Forums - General - Safari 5 works great on VGchartz (need help dl firefox 4....)

So yeah, safari 5 works great here! It's quite slow getting on the website but it loads a thread like zappita (super quick). However I wanted to dl Firefox 4 and compare it to Safari 5 but for some reason Firefox 4 won't work.... : / It says it doesn't support my architecture when I try to open it so what am I missing? Or is firefox 4 just spazzing out on me?

I guess I should list my computer and stuff....

Version: Mac 10.5.8 Leopard 

Processor: 1.2 GHzPowerPC computer G4(if that is important)

Memory: 512 MB RAM...

.... and that's all I'm going to list for now because I don't think anything else is quite important. Here is the system requirement webpage though

FF4 is intel mac only.. you could use http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/ it's a modified firefox for PowerPC users

Dont know much about macs but is that an intel based model. It looks like it has to be to support firefox 4

no PowerPC is an IBM CPU. Its not opfficially supported.

Finally downloaded it and it runs beautifully. It even kept the old firefox bookmarks! You da man!
