well it says gears 3 v halo, so we can expect a halo game this fall. im predicting halo 1 remake with multiplayer probably using halo 3 engine

hope its reach engine, or even that demo thing we saw not to long ago, that was purrrdy

i think its a 3rd person halo. or a remake which will be in 3rd person or 1st person.

i dunno, i think halo 3 engine would be more cost effective and perform good, imo H3 engine is underated i think it would be perfect for a halo CE remake

No man the Halo Reach engine is way better cause it can handle more going on and has better graphics...there's no reason for them to use the Halo 3 engine.

OT: That would be a rather anti-climatic way of announcing a new Halo.

I'm willing to give this game a chance,but since bungie's not going to remake it,I really don't know what to think of this.

Well I think 343 studios will do just fine because....the first Halo Reach mappack that sucked was made by bungie, the second Halo Reach mappack was far better and it was made by 343 studios. I know that ancedotal but still I think 353 studios will do a damn good job at making Halo games.

Halo 3 is compared to its trailers... which it wasnt haha, Halo 3 made me buy a 360 simply by playing the game in EB games. It was the decider of that vs PS3 as my first console. Halo as I said is gorgeous and a huge step up from ps2/xbox no question. 

If they can do a half-life version of the quake engine I can just imagine what they can do with the Halo one lol but as its 343 studios they may want to do their own engine... I dunno, well its not 343 per se as the rumour goes but they are helping whoever is doing it.

the amount of people at 343 studios could make about 3 different studios, microsoft knows exactly where their core audience is, halo will sell, like mario will sell on nintendo and gt for playstation, its a forgone conclusion, 343 was put in to further the opportunites which is a fantastic idea. :D
