First and third person shooters, because the gameplay is dull and the stories are always tedious (especially anything involving a space marine), plus the online communities... (you know the rest of the sentence)

(Honourable mention and currently gunning for the top spot) Western Rpgs, and Western Fantasy stories in general, because I think I could live a happy life not seeing/hearing about another Tolkien rpg trope (orcs, elves, dwarfs etc etc). Variations on the theme can be less unimaginative, eg in Harry Potter making the goblins bankers and the elves house servants, but having the dwarfs as staunch mountain dwellers, the elves as tall tree huggers that are good at archery and the orcs as a barbaric horde is tiring as anything. When so many other cultures can invent races at will for their fantasy tales, why must we re-hash the same old things?

The DMC/Bayonetta/GoW genre, whatever it's called.

Oh that one? It's called the 'amazing that only pedos don't like' genre...

yeeeaa... :/

I assure you pedos love button mashing games as well.

Maybe you should get to know some pedophiles instead of judging them!

OT: I guess I dislike puzzle and sports games mostly.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Shooters; they are all trying to clone whatever sells at the time from Doom through to Black Ops.

And sports games aren't? Heck, they don't even innovate or anything.

"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

(The Voice of a Generation and Seece)

"If you cant stand the sound of your own voice than dont become a singer !!!!!"

@soleron you could say the same for platforms, once Sonic got big everyone had there own talking animal with "tude". and Mario 64 came out everyone jumped on the 3d platform bandwagon, you could say that for any popular genre

We don't. Good contemporary fantasy, as a rule, does not take many aesthetic cues from Tolkien.

FPSs cause me headaches, plus they're too "western" for me...while I linke pretty much every other genre mentioned (strategy, platform, puzzle games are my favorite ones).
