Don't buy a Xbox Live membership and play MP games on PSN. That's what I'm gonna do when I eventually buy a 360.

Well so here it goes, I ended up buying my X-Box 360 today. Got a play and charge kit too. :)

So far my first game is Torchlight, someone told me about it. I had forgotten it was released for X-box 360 and I hadn't played it on PC (I don't use PC for games). Being a huge fan of Diablo series, I can say I'm amazed by this game, it is really very nice and will most likely keep me busy for many hours! I never expected it to be this good and close to Diablo.

I have also bought a couple of Arcades (Streets of Rage 2, Phantasy Star II) and downloaded some Demos of games I might get later (Dead or Alive 4, Bayonetta, Tales of Vesperia, King of Fighters 2002, etc). I'll look for Lost Odyssey and Super Street Fighter IV as well (I see SSFIV is available as on demand for a nice price so I will get it even owning the PS3 version too).

So far I'm pretty happy, I'll keep on sharing my impressions on the console. It looks pretty and just about same size as the PS3 Slim which is besides it. Lots of heat coming from the upper vent, which is very silent! The dashboard is easy to navigate and XBL is also nice. Haven't felt it as better or worse than PSN, just as nice, but different.

I did have one until it broke out of warranty.  I will probably wait until the price cut to replace it. Maybe you should too if you don't really like shooters or Kinect.

I would have recommended one more at the beginning of the generation due to them making more core exclusives outside of the FPS genre.  I think now, Xbox Live, Kinect, and shooters are the main draw for the system.  But I do think Tales of Vesperia (since it doesn't look like the full version is coming outside of Japan) and Lost Odyssey are two of the best jRPGs in this jRPG-starved generation.  So yeah, I am going to get one at the next price cut just for LO, TOV, Alan Wake, and some of the multiplats that are much better on 360 like Bayonetta.

Second.. you will enjoy XBLA much more, than you would think :) i have round 70 "big games" for xbox, but really like only few.. the main time i was playing only the XBLA and i must say, if for nothing, the XBLA is a f...k great service..it gives me so many great games, that i really don't need to buy anything else :) Just to name some:

Shadow Complex - i was absolutely addicted to this :) Great story, graphics, arcade feeling :) A must buy  (PS3 owners are really missing a masterpiece in its category - hope, that it will get a way to PS3 sometime, somehow)

Defense grid - do you like tower-defense games ? That get this game.. it`s really awsome, you would be amazed (don't know, if it`s already on PS3)

Trials HD - if you know something like ELASTOMANIA, this is somthing for you.. a great game for the arcade/nervers fanboys :)

Arkadian warriors - somthing similar to diablo - try first demo

Bomberman Live - need to say more ? :))

Comic Jumper - great arcade games

Feeding frenzy 2 - something from mobiles / arcade games :) Just a time killer :)

Galaga Legions / Geometry Wars  - a great retro-shooter (galaga, gyrus, space invaders)

Splosion Man - get it, grab it :) pure FUN :) and hell of nerves :D co-op enabled :)

Rocket Riot - man, how i love this game :) Sometimes you would throw your controller out of windows, but it really makes my day :)

Small Arms - great action game (you know that games, that you have to jump, shoot and stay alive until some condition are meet)

Toy Soldier - something like defense grid :)

Limbo - you know that dark creepy game :)

Tales of (haven't playet it on full version, but i like the style of the game)

Alien Breed series - just pure action game (remake of classic)

Castle Crasher - arcade game - really great :) co-op enabled :)

Assault heroes I,II  - a great action game - from top :) Co-op enabled :)

Lara Croft (darkness) - enjoy it really - great game

Pac-Man Championship - nothing to add. .best pac-man to date :)

Zombie  vs Plants - popgames hefty game :) Towerdefense clone :)

Also look for game market place (top downloaded/top rated), INDIE Games (from 80s points, you will find great games), and look for DEALS OF THE WEEK (DOTW) and month deal (now great games for 50% off).. also EVERY ARCADE GAME HAVE A DEMO - if you like it, then a pop-up during game will give you choises to buy it or end it :)

And dont forget for free games :)  Harm ways, Dash Of Destruction, Doritos Crash Course :)

Alan Wake - hope, you will give a chance to this game.. if you like some kind of action-adventure games, you will be thrilled and blow-out by this game - if for nothing, this game is the reason, why to buy XBOX :)

Forza 2 or 3 - even if you like GT5, forza will give you an enjoyment and pleasure of a great car game :)

Fable 3 - google it :)

Dead Or alive 4 :)

Also, M$ is planing to run a free game service - you would pay for what you want :) so we will see :)
