Forums - General - Which classic movie deserves a sequel?

So I went to see I am Legend and I saw the new trailer for Rambo and I was like "wow, another remake of good old classic 80s movies!" I'm really looking foward to seeing this after the sequel to Rocky 5 with Rocky Balboa. It turned out pretty good after all and I'm really hoping Rambo is good too cuz the old ones were freaking awesome.

So then I thought to myself  "hmm, they should make a Ferris Bueler Day's Off sequel!" It could be called Ferris Bueler's Day Off Work or something like that. Anyway, I'm rambling too much.

SO WHICH MOVIE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE A SEQUEL FROM? Noticed I'm saying a sequel, not a remake like tons of movies these days.

What are you looking at, nerd?

Goonies deserved to get a sequel, but never should, for it would be utterly horrible.

Princess Bride sequel, or maybe even a prequel, could be kinda neat, but not with current actors. It'd have to be totally true to original technologies used. You wouldn't be able to get andre though, so no dice.

I think Teen Wolf (Michael J Fox) actually has gotten a sequel.

Can't really think of any others, most of the ones that I feel deserve a sequel have one.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

Currently wrapped up in: Half Life, Portal, and User Created Source Mods

Soriku you are too young to remember Krull. Go out and rent it. That movie had potential. Great concept but poor execution.

Another one of my favorites, The Sword and the Sorcerer.

Also Krull had one of the coolest weapons in any movie. A 5 point star disc called The Glaive. It acted like a boomerang on acid.

Akira 2
Back to the Future 4
Blade Runner 2
Conan
The Dark Crystal 2
