Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter director Makato Ikehara tweeted about Dragon’s Dogma, Capcom’s April 13 game announcement, sometime yesterday.

In his tweet, though not referencing Dragon’s Dogma directly, he complains that everyone figured out the official title through the name’s initials (DD) and the trademark filing.

His tweet is significant as the internet community has been abuzz with the potential of this actually being a new Breath of Fire game. If so, it’s possible Dragon’s Dogma is only a subtitle, with the full title being Breath of Fire VI: Dragon’s Dogma.

Only time will tell.

hmmm, just because BoF: DQ's director commented on it doesn't mean it's going to be a BoF revival. However, it is curious that HE of all people would comment on this game. We also don't know if HE'S working on it, but again, his comment does hint at some sort of role. I would like to see a new BoF since it's been awhile. Maybe it's one of the 3DS surprises Ono hinted at some time ago

If you red his tweet hes dissapointed not really because ppl found out it was dragons dogma..but because there catchin on that its possibly a new Breath of fire something that he wanted to keep hidden so he only included to rumored sub title..he wanted bof return to be the biggest shock ever..

Well, I'm just saying that if you take this at face value he probably means "well, they found out it was Dragon's Dogma". But, like I said, it COULD be a BoF revamp since Ikehara has been a part of the series since 3 and I would hope he'd like to renew it. It's been nearly a decade since Quarter and CAPCOM has been going through their older IPs lately so BoF might be a good fit for, say, the 3DS

That would be awesome - I love the BoF-franchise. I just hope it'll be released on console (as in "home console"), since I can't get into JRPGs on a handheld system.
