Nintendo
They have significant level of output and it's all quality. Even when they go super simple, like a Wii ___ game, there is so much attention to the details of that simplicity it's amazing. While playing games like Mario Galaxy 1/2, NSMBWii, and Kirby I regulary felt myself amazed at some of the cool ideas they snuck in (especially Kirby, which did that at least twice per world). While I get that sense of amazement from some other games, it's usually in the first few minutes and then that's the last time they throw in the wow factor. And I don't really buy in to graphical prowess (I'm one of those people that can't see the difference between SD and HD unless they are side-by-side), so it's really the gameplay that determines how much wow factor there is for me. For someone who has been gaming for roughly 25 years, it really takes something special to impress me and even after all these years Nintendo is still coming up with impressive stuff game after game. Sure, they cut corners on stuff like story, but if I wanted story I'd pick up a book or watch a TV show.. So if that's what it takes to drive innovative gameplay, I'm down.
