Forums - Gaming - COD: Black Ops Escalation DLC Outed

Eurogamer

The second map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops will be known as Escalation. And it's due for release on 3rd May.

That's what GAME Australia let slip this afternoon on a digital flyer which, although now removed, has been immortalised on VG247.

Like other Call of Duty map packs, Escalation offers five new levels. The poster calls the five new scenarios "Seize the Zoo", "Take the Hotel", "Secure the Convoy", "Raid the Stockpile" and "Survive the Call of the Dead".

The last sounds like a new zombie level.

Because of an exclusivity deal between Microsoft and Activision, Escalation will release first on Xbox 360. There's no indication of when a PS3 version will appear - First Strike took an extra month to make its way to PS3.

There's also no mention of price, although the solitary First Strike map mack for Black Ops cost 1200 Microsoft Points.

Man alot of gaming news has been slipped out from Australia. We have the censor Board which anounces new games, and we had many many things from EB games and now GAME releasing out information accidently.

want to keep things serect, dont release it in australia.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Secure the convoy?

Could this be a moving level like the Killzone 2 train map?  Probably not but I can hope.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

That was quick.

Can't you just... oh I don't know, beat up some retail dude to show an example? We get enough flak for banning the first good Mortal Kombat is about a decade. >.>
