Demon's Souls Intro music is truly Epic.

Maybe not the most epic vg music; yet it ranks high on my list:) and yes I uploaded this, since Code Red action remix wasn't on youtube.

Edited: More epic music!

Take a look at my photos on flickr

Agree with zgamer5

but I have a contender:

"Tell me why does it have to be so hard

to let go when it?s your final day

...When death is on it's way"

For me, it's the main theme from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. I'm too lazy so look it up yourself on Youtube.

It's rather sad how underappreciated the entire spinoff franchise is.

“These are my principles; if you don’t like them, I have others.” – Groucho Marx

The greatest disaster in the history of video games is that Nier didn't win any awards or get any recognition for having the greatest game soundtrack of all time. The industry hit a new rock bottom the day they decided that low budgets and originality was something to scoff at, instead of praise.

That isn't even half of the soundtrack. If you call yourself any type of gamer and you still haven't at least tried Nier, then your a fool and an asshole and I hate you. People whine about how Japan isn't giving us any new, original or epic games, but then when one comes along, everyone ignores it. Cavia created a masterpiece. If six million of you could drag your feet through the broken glass that is Final Fantasy 13, then I'm sure a few of you could at least make an attempt to experience one of the greatest RPG/Adventure games since Ocarina of Time.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Halo 2 had the best and most epic soundtrack out of any game I have played IMO.

@Doobie_wop: Wow that really is some epic music right there!

But battle music?

Motoi Sakuraba on Mario Tennis or Eternal Sonata

Yoko Shimomura on SMRPG and Mario & Luigi

Yoshito Hirano on Paper Mario and Advance Wars

Killzone 3 comes to mind recently.....
