I think they will announce a new Halo that comes this year (probably the rumored remake). And 1 other game or Codename Kingdoms get a real title and a 2011 release (very unlikely). Some more Kinect titles. And probably some more exlusive DLC deals.

I think we Hardcore and core gamers wont get much though, but the casuals will probably get a lot of fun Kinect games and exercise sims.

This is also another myth that 360 fans seem to enjoy throwing around. There are plenty of 360 fans on this site, I've noticed that the majority of new members (like yourself) are 360 fans. When the 360 was outselling everyone world wide for a few months, when Halo: Reach came out, when Rare was cutting art staff, when the TGS Kinect were announced and when Crysis 2 comparisons were released, the 360 fans came out of the woodwork and then you notice how many members there are, but they just have nothing of interest to post about mot of the time.

You can only talk about the 'possible' exclusives that are coming up so many times until it becomes boring. This site has more 360 fans than we think, which is something that I've realised by looking in the Crysis 2 comparison threads and the Live vs PSN threads. Get over it.

It's not that there are no 360 fans on this board, it's just that they are heavily outnumbered by Playstation fans and it shows in most of the threads, no matter which section of the forums you are in.

On a different topic not related to the above post, let's not forget that one of the reasons the PS3 has so many exclusives in the early part of this year is because of games being delayed from holiday 2010.

Great lineup for sure, but I think Microsoft will end up matching them, especially when it comes to sales. 

Personally the only one I'll be playing out of those is Last Guardian and out of the MS exclusives we know about for this year (aside from Kinect titles) it'll be Forza 4.  The rest of my purchases will be multi-plats (Skyrim, ME3).

I know Microsoft doesn't always wait until E3 to show their hand, but I think this year will be one of those years since I think they really wanted to focus on Kinect during the second half of last year.  I really do expect them to have a big E3 this year.

Motorstorm is not in the same league as the rest of those games, sorry.  I also included Twisted Metal it just doesn't have a firm release date.

twisted metal has a firm release date. jaffe said its coming out at the end of 2011. he didnt give it a month, but theirs still in 2011 and thats whats important.

we know gears 3, forza 4 is coming out, so there must be another title that will come out before year end.

If you're going by the "it'll sell more than a million" scale then you need to include Kinect games like Kinect Sports, Dance Central and even Kinectimals which will pass a million soon and big exclusives from last year.  There will certainly be more million seller Kinect games coming out later this year.  If you include those then Microsoft will already have more "big" exclusives than the PS3.  My criteria is to include only AAA games though.  I would put Gears, Halo, Fable, Uncharted, Resistance, Infamous etc into that category.  Games that are worth having midnight launches for, that you put on the cover of magazines, that have chances of winning game of the year.  No one is lining up to buy Motorstorm.

As to your second comment "twisted metal has a firm release date" then "he didnt give it a month".  Um, that's not a FIRM release date.  Even giving a month would do, if not the actual day.  Anyway, I did include it for this year, I just said we didn't have a date.  The Last Guardian is one I'm drooling for but we don't even know if it's coming out this year yet :(

but yea e3 microsoft must have a big exclsuive too reveal probabily be the halo remake or  somehting but my theory is probabily the halo remake for november because it halo 10 year anniversary and think about it why is gears 3 coming out in sept and the leak forza 4 footage shows october so their has to be a big exclusive for november month

Myths usually aren't proven every year. I would have thought after the last 5 years people know M$ dont upset their fans.

Alan Wake was announced in 2005 at E3, it released in 2010.

Fable 2 was announced in 2006 and was then released in 2008.

Lost Odyssey was shown at TGS 06 and was released in 2008

Blue Dragon was announced in Feburary of 05 and was then released later in December 06.

Mass Effect was announced in 2005 and released in 2007.

Halo Reach was announced in June of 2009 and it was released over a year later in September of 2010.

Halo 3 was announced in June of 2006 and released over a year later in 2007.

Too Human for the 360 was announced in 2005 and was released in 2008.

Spinter Cell: Conviction was announced in 2007 and was released in 2010.

Fable 3 was announced in August in 2009 and was released over a year later in October in 2010.

Mass Effect 2 was released a year after it's announcement.

Gears of War 3 was announced in April of 2010 and it's being released well over a year later in September of 2011.

I can probably find more, but basically, it's a myth. Just because Microsoft have the announcement and then release it shortly after a few times (Forza 3, Gears 2, Viva Pinata), it doesn't mean that the vast majority of their releases aren't announced a full year or more before they release.

Actually what Sony is doing now is playing catch-up due to their lackluster holiday 2010 lineup.


Because MS had a great exclusive holiday 2010 line up? Fable III Kinect  (and if you want to do some spin you can add the in the summer released Halo Reach)    Even with halo Reach included this is an ok holiday at best...  Sure with Sony only releasing GT 5 and some PS2 collections it is for sure not doing better...But with DC Universe Online, Little Big Planet 2, Hyperdimension Neptune, Killzone 3, Yakuza 4, some move games, Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel, MotorStorm: Apocalypse,    and etc...Sony did not only catch up with MS's holiday 2010 line up..They striked it down, shit on it and is laughing with it;..

People like you make me ashamed of being with the X360 family..Grown up like the rest of the X360 fans did and hope MS is going to announce some good stuff..
