Finished it.

Good DLC, but also probably the weakest of the major DLC packs - Kasumi, Overlord, and Shadow  Broker were all better.

The balance in certain fights was just not there. This was frustratingly hard on Insanity, far and away the hardest mission, and a lot of it came down to enemy spawn points and a lack of choke points to take cover behind. That and a general glitchiness which made it so Pyros weren't stunned as often as they should be.

This DLC will end up really important from a story perspective, but it's the least well-constructed mission in the entire game.

Still, it had some bad-ass moments in it and was worth the purchase.

Agreed.

Now, I want to see what they will come up with for the reapers to arrive. They said that without the Alpha relay it would take months or years for them to arrive on Earth.

I was underwhelmed.  I saw one plot point coming a mile away.  There weren't many choices to make.  Too many battles consisted of fighting wave after wave of enemies.  The lip syncing seemed a little off at points.  It was still ME2 and it was still fun but in the end, I was a little disappointed.  Not nearly as good as Overlord, Stolen Memories, or Lair of the Shadow Broker.  It was almost like Mass Effect fan fiction or something.

Well they said months or years... and given that you can do it midway through the story, I don't think that really matters. What I do like is that this means that we will almost definitely be going to Earth at the start of Mass Effect 3! Which is what I have been waiting for for the last 2 games, hopefully they let us do some proper exploration there, not just a quick look then it goes boom

As for the difficulty, I had to turn it down from hardcore to veteran for the final battle I was finding it far trickier than anything in the main game, but I wasn't awful (level 30 sentinel with sniper)

I bet ME3 starts off with Shephard on trial.

That was my hope, but I am trying to get the spoilers to work

Sorry.  I tried to vague, though.  I just don't know how to black things out anymore.  The change to the latest version of VGChartz robbed me of much of my powers.

It requires using HTML code, but hopefully GamrConnect 2.0 will make things better

New DLC for Mass Effect 2.  I'm downloading it now for 560 Microsoft Points (I don't know the conversion so I assume it's $300 in real money).  It should be available on PS3 and 360 with new Achievements/Trophies.  GET IT!!

Hey, I'll buy you the DLC if you give me the money to buy it :P

Nice try! I already got it for $100.  I'm no sucker.
