Why not?  Even if the system has to work twice as hard to do it because of the 3D, the 3DS is twice as powerful as a the PSP.  There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be able to MHP3 in 3D.

That we don't know yet. At this point we don't even know if 3ds will be getting a MH game at all. Remember for now, it's still a rumor. If 3DS is indeed getting a MH game, that doesn't make it exclusive yet. 

If MH is exclusive to 3DS however that would be a huge blow to NGP.

Why not?  Even if the system has to work twice as hard to do it because of the 3D, the 3DS is twice as powerful as a the PSP.  There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be able to MHP3 in 3D.

maybe the order of the words was wrong - I should have worded it " it won't look just like the psp game", meaning it will look better.

I seriously doubt it will be exclusive, but the 3D aspect WILL be exclusive by definition.

He means it will look better, just look at the RE games they look awesome even with 3D on

Holy shit!  1,800 hours?  Seems like you might have played a little too much.  Those hours are on par with my WoW addiction a few years back.  I only have about 130 hours so far for MH3 (highest playtime games for me on Wii are Animal Crossing ~ 300 hours and WaW/BO combined ~ 500 hours).  What is your HR rank?

Anyway, I would definitely buy a 3DS version of MH, especially seeing as how it's sometimes difficult for me to fit in playing time on MH3...A portable version would be much better. And if it's system exclusive, NGP's dead. If it's not system exclusive, then that means that NGP will have exactly three blockbuster titles in Japan. Big whoop.

I heard that the camera control for the PSP versions took some getting used to (ie. it was horrible, but bearable once you learned it). If Capcom's planning on using the touch screen for camera control, there'd better be something good for Southpaws (like me). Actually.... I wonder how it would work. Let's see here...

Well, he'd better be at least HR100! 1,800 hours?! Where does a person find that kind of time? I think I've spent about 75 hours so far on my copy (bought in December). Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn holds the play record for me (~220 hours). MH3 is extremely deep, and I can see how people would spend close to 500 hours on it....But 1,800? He must know everything about the game.
