just ran it  on my comp, Dual core E8400 cpu - 4 gig ddr2 ram - 2x 9800 GTX plus sli  at 1920 x 1080  v synch off and got consistent mid 30's most times dipping to mid 20's and up to high 40's

On highest setting? Thats pretty good no?

I mean 9800 GTX is very similar to the GTS250 which I used to have 2 years ago. That card was about ~40-50% of the performance of my current GTX470 in most games like Gears of War and RE5. So with 2 of them in SLI, logical thinking would indicate that you should be getting 70-80% performance compared to what I got...

yes nvidia renamed the 9800 gtx plus model to 250 and yep the Crysis 2 results are pretty good, but high  time for an upgrade me thinks I'm running a ASUS  M2N32 deluxe mobo any ideas

Hmm...I can't seem to find an M2N32 mobo that works with intel CPUs.

That CPU is still good though, I'd probably overclock it to like 3.6-3.8 ghz and slap on a big aftermarket cpu cooler and leave everything else as is...except the video card. For your setup I'd go GTX460 sli all the way :)

I can max out the game and it runs at over 40 frames per second at all times with a single GTX470. IT runs butter smooth on 3 monitors and with 2 overclocked GTX470s in SLI at 5760x1080 resolution. For comparison sake, I cant even max out Need for Speed Shift 1 on 3 monitors at that resolution and have to disable AA or lower resolution or detail level to make it playable.

.

Cool Story Bro.

now here is a picture of my E-Penis

======================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================

lol.

I can't tell if you are taking issue with me having 3 monitors and gtx470 or the fact that the game runs smooth on my setup

and the E-penis continues

========================================================================================================================================================

lol, why did they remove the ability to customize the graphics? I lagged even when the game is on low, and i have a 260 gtx core 216, i can run NTW on max, but crysis is a no go! Must by my CPU...

Yeah I am pretty sure something isn't right with your setup. GTX260 216 is an overclock away to being as powerful as a gtx280, which is the card they recommend using for this game.

Its because the Cryengine 3 behind it is truly a masterful piece of work.

The game runs maxed out with very minimal hardware requirements. On the PC it pretty much doubled the frame rate over Crysis 1 on same hardware while looking the same (or better).

So even if this is the best looking console game, it really isnt because they are finding some newly found processing power in the 360 or because they are optimizing PS3s untapped potential or some other BS. It is because the guys at Crytek made a killer engine that produces amazing results with minimal hardware requirements on all platforms.

All the arguing over this should stop as its meaningless and doesnt prove one console is more powerful than the other. They could probably port this game to the Wii and it wouldnt look half bad...

Guess that's why Crytek said they could port their Cryengine 3 to the 3DS but Epic said Unreal Engine 3 wouldn't work

Im running crysis 2 at 1920x1080 at highest settings and it sticks to about 60fps with v-sync on (strays to around 58 when off).

Though seriously dude if your are running it on 3 screens...how loud if your fan O_O

I believe them...seem like the engine has a very light shell which you could put all kinds of levels of detail, textures, polygon counts. Unreal 3 engine could also be ported to 3DS, but it wouldn't look as good.
