Actually, the Magnavox predates the PC, so consoles are older ;)

I will actually be following this, being rather fresh off Halo: CE for the PC. I really loved the game.

Ah I forgot to insert the "One of" :p, I'd highly recommend Halo Encyclopedia, coax your friends into buying it as a present though, there is a fine line between interest and geekiness , I found the information on it fascinating, although the events on Reach may differ a bit from the game.

But it's basically how the covenant was formed, how humans achieved technology, information in regards to the human millitary, covenant caste system, also the events predating both these races with the forerunners fighting flood, what happened, how it happened and when. It really is interesting how much detail went into developing the Halo world.

I count the PC fans in the MS category to bolster our numbers xP

(Correct me if Im wrong but) You do realise that Halopedia is just about the only site that calls The Covenant 'the Covenant Empire). I asked why awhile back and it was to do with an issue to do with a restriction on the page name. Plus I have never heard Bungie use the phrase so I dont know why its managed to catch on with some fans.

Empire makes everything sound much more cool and evil...
