Forums - Gaming - Why you should only have to buy your game once

Why would you buy a game for Console X if you have the Console Y? And if you have both, why not just play it in Console X?

Legally, you can pirate it anyways.

I just bought a 360 late last year, and it would be nice if I could have a bit of backlog for it straight off the bat. I have RDR for PS3 for example, but I would like to play the 360 version because it's better.

I also plan on buying a new PC this year, and it would be nice if I could just have some of all my console games be playable there. Games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, Red Faction: Guerilla and Fallout 3 are all games I want to try out on PC, and there isn't really any reason why I should have to pirate them to do it.

Just a thought, but Valve may be pioneering this already. if you buy the PS3 portal you get it on steam also to play. Onley game I know of that you only have to buy once to play on 2 systems

Yes, I talked about it in the OP.
