Pretty funny video...and if the game is better for the delay then Im happy.

I'll still pick it up day one, but I'm guessing they must have found a serious game bug right at the end of development to only delay it a single month, or they just want to do some polishing, but why couldn't they just do a day one patch like everyone else? :S

The irony surrounding this game is outstanding, it being delayed some how gives the reaction of face/palm while being funny at the same time.

Because day one patches are terrible and signs of a development mode that Gearbox doesn't subscribe to.

Games often go Gold a few weeks before release, so why not use that time to create a patch that improves the game?

It isn't perfect, but I don't see the problem with it (unless it was a game breaking thing or something to do with graphics, those should be done before the game ships for people without internet access)
