Listen man, I've played Crysis for countless hours. I've beaten the SP of both Crysis 1 and Warhead 3-5 times each. I've spent even more time just screwing around with mods. I'm one of few who will advocate that it was a great shooter. I enjoyed the AI, the dynamic battle field, the suit options, etc. For me it has been the best shooter on PC since HL2 (Stalker and BF2 are up there too).

But to completely ignore that great experiences exist on consoles just makes you look like you're trying to compensate for a lack of something and you need "OMGZ I IZ HARDCORE GAMERZZZ!! I B BETR DAN UUUZ!" status to do so. Using hypothetical situations ("most people even casual would take crysis 1 over halo 3 any day of the week if they had the components necessary to run the game at high detail") to prove a point is about as useful as sending a Magikarp into battle when all it knows is Splash. Today's mainstream $500-600 tower is capable of running Crysis 1 fairly well at a great resolution. Are people rushing out to get it? No. Because those who played it didn't think all that much to spread the word about it and get non-hardcore friends involved.

Next, if Crysis 1 had been released for consoles it wouldn't have been the same game. See Crysis 2 for evidence on how it would've been bastardized. That hypothetical "proof" seems pretty useless now, huh?

I agree with your sentiments of the CoD franchise. I haven't played one since CoD 3 and I don't plan on playing one any time soon. I also don't think much of Crysis 2. I've played the MP demo on PC and it just feels like a game that handles better with a controller, which is a shame to me as I loved the first Crysis.

And at this point I don't even feel like wasting my time on disproving the rest of your faulty logic. You should learn to open up your point of view. You'll find more to enjoy if you do. Continuing on all angry and offensive for no apparent reason will only do you harm.
