lol, is this a joke? This is kind of pathetic, even for milking champions called Capcom. I think I may pirate this and give it to kids for free...

I've already tried both of these in full HD on my PC using the gamecube wii emulator. Guess what, they are not better games in HD especially Code Veronica which is seriously flawed at this point.

ah i knew you would come into this, yet again il have to disagree :)

Why do you have to disagree?

1)Is there not a RE4 copy somewhere in your house right now that you can play? I have 2 versions sitting in the closet somewhere and one on my computer in ISO format... I just don't see why Capcom feels we need another release for this game.

As far as Code Veronica, the game could be fun if they change something, like the controls or enemy location. Something new that warrants a purchase... Making code veronica HD doesn't add any value what so ever. The textures are crap, polygon models are low and making it HD just makes these issues worse.

2)Code veronica should be part of a dreamcast Capcom compilation that includes like 10 games and sells for 30 bucks.

1) But they don't have achievement or trophies!!

2) Would be nice;..because the DC collection I bought sucks so hard :(.

I  still have hope that RE6 will be announced at E3 this year.

Yeah Sega did a piss poor job on the DC collection.  Especially since it contains the same crab version of Crazy Taxi that is available on X-Box Live that doesn't include the orginal music and the orginal licencese (KFC, Fila Store, etc).

Scans:

Nice scans its pretty much worth a buy just for the RE4 remake and if they can tweak the controls of Codename Veroika to make it less of a pain to play then its even better.

It's been a while so correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that motion blur from when that El Gigante screams at you?

If that's the Wii version on the left then no.

It really isn't.

Apparently they will release it as a download in addition to disc

I wish they'd used a different screen as reference.  I just watched the youtube video of the PS2, PC, and Gamecube versions and I could almost swear that there's a split second of motion blur at that precise moment.  If not, there is absolutely NO WAY any version of RE4 looked as blurry as that left screen!  It looks like the lense was rubbed with vaseline.  Even the youtube videos are clearer!!
