some instances the ps3 looks better (like the patch on the guys arm) but the hud looks clearer on xbox

I think the music might be tacked on, but the easter egg is real.

By pictures looks almost identical.

Just a slightly better textures, lighting and AA on PS3.

I want to see the performance analyst.

Edit - If Crytek already had that build level why show us the crap beta... I blame you Crytek.

And the visuals are basically even. PS3 looks better sometimes, 360 others.

Well, that developed funny.

First, rumors of the PS3 version being way inferior, then the terrible graphics of the PS3 demo, and now the PS3 might be even the better looking version of the two console versions.

I just find it sad that 90% of all Crysis 2 related threads are about the graphics instead of gameplay.

The thing is all the early reviews have stated that the 360 is superior graphically. I've got a sneaking suspicion, like CGI said, that the ps3 is sub-720.

I'll have mine tomorrow at 10 am regarless, and I'm excited to play. Like the post above said, of course its not all about the graphics, but it was Crytek that got this all started with their BOLD claims. It's all good fun!

In the MP demo both were sub 720p but PS3 even more so. Can't say about the retail version though. I think Crytek want to utilise the 360 10 MB eDram and in order to do so the the framebuffer needs to fit within 10mb which means something has to give. In this case it's the resolution.

As for PS3, being a multi plat engine I doubt the SPU's are being utilised too much like they are in PS3 exclusives if at all.

Which early reviews? I read just two: Gamereactor and Official Xbox Magazine.
