I'm not bashing nintendo, some of my favorite games this gen are Wii games and when nintendo's game is on, it's ON. Donkey Kong Country Returns, New Super Mario Brothers Wii, Smash Brothers Brawl, the Mario Galaxy games, Twilight Princess, the Virtual Console...all awesome, but for every Metroid Prime game, you have Just Dance and Carnival Games. 

And Just Dance has sold millions of copies. 

That is why I dislike the Wii.  When it's good, it's phenomenal (and it has more than its fair share of good), but when it's bad (and it is frequently), it's an insult to gamers worldwide. 

See here is one of the problems with how people think of the WIi. All thoose games you listed as shitty are in fact doing their job just as good and better than 90% of the others. That simple but complex job is fun. When games that have no prior hype "Just Dance" sells millions its not shitty. It is doing the job it was meant to do and thats help people have fun. Now to me you and a lot of people on these boards they are not as fun as say Donkey Kong Country returns. But the same thing is often reveresed for others. Now, thats not to say there truly isnt broken and downright horrible games made but that is every system ever.

Its not different than prefering a Playstaion/Xbox/Wii/PSP/DS over another. One just fits you better while others fit somebody else's view of fun.

Oh, please. You may think they're cheap cash-in games, but a number of people would beg to differ. Wii Sports remains my favourite Wii game despite NSMBW and SSBB.

Why exactly do these "gamers" care if others are enjoying playing Just Dance? Why the heck can't they just shut up and play whatever the heck they wanna play without getting insulted just because somebody has a different opinion?

It's hardly Nintendo's fault if "gamers" are close-minded and selfish.

EDIT: Bah, beaten by a far less troll-ish response saying the exact same thing.

Big whooop, he said nintendo uses mario too much and that they should change the formula. I mean c'mon how many mario 2d/3d platformers are there? Thats not nintendo hate. Thats saying mario is a overused. They are starting to say the same things about shooters. Which is true.

You know, I wish gaming was a more normal medium, a medium were subpar products and obvious rip-offs did not sell millions of copies.

But then again, I myself have been trying to replicate those games during the past few weeks, I'm going to call my game "Family Sports Party". I can't wait to release it and instantly acquire monopoly of the gaming market.
