I had made a similar thread a few days ago but with different games :P
Lets see i wont bother with MK from your above post so its down to Socom and Motorstorm.
I have only played one Socom on PS2, and i dont remember which, but it was awesome. I have Socom FTB 1 & 2 on PSP and they are very addicting. So i have no reason to downplay Socom 4 because they are being made by Zipper, who knows it's Socom stuff. Plus when it comes to multiplayer, it should be up par or the best tactical around. They had a chance to expiremnt with MAG and Socom Confrontation (which Slant 6 eventually took over).
I got the PS3 Motorstorm bundle a few years ago. Technically it was my first game, and it was nice. It had fun gameplay (crashing and seeing the driver fly like a ragdoll was funny as hell). What i didn't like was the multiplayer, I dont remember much about it but i didnt even bother with it after the first few races. I only played the Pacific Rift demo and again i had good fun with it. Have not tried Artic Rift but im sure its the same good formula. Apocalypse only looks to improve in all aspects and the visuals look amazing.
Tough choice but i would go with Socom. Apocalypse can wait till its GH( you can look into it next year). Plus if you dont have Move i say take advantage of the Socom Full Deployment Edition.
