Congratulations on your purchase. These are the games I have so far that I can recommend: Resistance (you already have it though), Virtua Fighter 5, Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, MotorStorm (again, you have it), Heavenly Sword (you may want to rent it though like rocketpig said), Ratchet & Clank, Call of Duty 4, Uncharted, Madden 08 (you already have it), and NBA Live 08, Guitar Hero 3 and finally Warhawk (this game is pretty underrated imo).

Also, make sure you download Everyday Shooter, Pain, High Velocity Bowling, SuperStardust HD, Blast Factor, Super Puzzle Fighter HD, Calling All Cars, and some PS1 Classics like Symphony of the Night, and Wild Arms.

Awesome and I will have fun with the PS3, I believe it was worth the $500 I spent and will enjoy it for the next couple of years... 

I'm going to buy Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted tomorrow and then Unreal Tournament 3 after and so on...

PS3 does have a decent amount of software that is slowly catching the Xbox 360.... 

Maybe in your mind, most likely why i wont grab the ps3 this christmas (at this rate not even next cause EVERYTHING is being delayed). Ps3 has a few good games yes, but no where near what i see with wii or 360.

THen again everything is opinion so

Yes and it is my opinion, congrats on posting an opinion that was better kept to yourself rather than a post because obiviously everyone knows the PS3 doesn't have the stack of software like the 360.

You really shouldn't listen to the people who focus on everything they find negative about the PS3.

If you enjoy and it occupies you then its all cool.

I wonder how they would react likewise if some sony supporter(s) went into a "I just bought a 360 thread" and started to underline the 33% failure rate at any given possibilities.

Same goes for any bitter & sour super hardcore 360 supporter that acts like he's been molested by Sony, tries to spoil some one's interest with the "small library" arguement.

 Just add me as soon as possible. I'm about to jump on my PS3 right now and give MotorStorm a spin.

I enjoy all what the PS3 is offering now and what it has for me in the future. Sony is a company that doesn't give up and plus their failure rate is 0.3% and I never had a failed system from Sony.

Warhawk is my next purchase, and I'm thinking about getting PSN games but I'm debating now since. I have a list of PS3 games I want to play and use my time with.
