Call of duty Black ops easily! Though Reach and Killzone 3 are tied for second. I also some how like world at war and Black ops better on the PS3 and prefer Cod Mw series on the Xbox 360. I didn't like MW2 very much though especially on the Ps3.

Black Ops, easily. It does have issues but it is the best multiplayer in the industry, zombies is some of the best co-op fun and the campaign is awesome, I hate to say it but the campaign in BO is much better then the campaign of Killzone 3, it's too fucking short in Killzone 3 and it doesn't even have online co-op! Could care less about Vanquish with only a campaign which is said to be less then 10 hours, pass.

Funny you say that, I've just finished BO campaign yesterday, can't say it was the best but it was so-so I guess.

Vanquish :) I'm not really into FPS, but some third person shooters do appeal to me. 

I will agree that the multiplayer from GoldenEye is a lot like COD (leveling up and getting better weapons and gadgets for doing so), but it's not COD Lite. To be honest, GoldenEye relies much more on skill.  COD's multiplayer impresses until you play it a little bit and analyze it's flaws.  The guns in ALL of the COD games are unbalanced and you can get the best perks by playing the game for a few days.  GoldenEye takes much longer to level up and sure, some guns are better than others, but it's not like COD where you dominate someone that has gotten the game three days later than you just because you have the gun that kills him with half as many bullets.

Contrary to what many say, much of COD's gameplay was borrowed from the original GoldenEye.  GoldenEye was the first multiplayer console shooter and you could aim down the sight of the gun long before COD, even though COD seems to get credit for this for some odd reason.

Oh, and the single player experience in the COD games is an afterthought.  You can try to deny this, but it's true.  Also, the challenge level isn't that great either.  There's a video on youtube that shows a guy passing the first level of Black Ops without firing a bullet.  Try this on GoldenEye.  GoldenEye's difficulty on single player is much more difficult, escpecially on 007 Classic mode, you know the mode where you can't hide and regenerate health.  Also, it has some insane time trials which aren't for the faint of heart.

It's not that I hate COD or anything.  I've played the game and enjoyed it for what it is, but it doesn't rely on skill as much as many other shooters.  The best way to describe COD would be by calling it the Madden of FPS.    

@amp316  whoa buddy, as far as single player goes your right. THe COD SP is an afterthought, i blame that on the fans who only care about MP. YOu dont know how many of my "dudebro" pals say i dont play COD for SP who cares about story?? that crap pisses me off, its why Acti can get away with crap like MW2. BOs had bigger WTF moments than GE, but far sheer challenge GE is way better, no argument there. I still have to complete it.

I agree 110 percent about your MP points, GE was way more challenging. I was actually surprised at it, i wasnt expecting to enjoy the MP as much as I did. When you see someone online in GE with a high level it means something and its much harder to get that high. I got both those games around the same time and i probably play GE just as much if not more than BOs and my level is only 17 but in BOs its 40. Ill take your word on the GE N64 comments i never owned that system and only played the game at a friends house. I have little memory of how it played. Man im glad you said all this I would hate to have the COD fans jump on my ass

Halo reach for me;. The stats show me I have now spended more than 8 days in Halo reach, Almost 200 hours;..Vanquich is great for a weekend or maybe a week.....but Halo Reach is going on..

Bad Company 2. I haven't played KZ3 or Reach though.

It's the only shooter my friends ever beat me at. And the funny thing is the person who always comes last when we play CoD or any other shooter comes in first when we switch to Halo. I find that kinda interesting. Guess the game just plays diffrently for most shooters and takes a diffrent kind of skill.
