Price will probably sink fast...be careful of used game sales though. It has one of those "activation keys" which don't let you play multiplayer without it. You'll have to pay a fee if you buy used.

I have the game for the 360 and I'm telling you no lies when I say its the best MP I've played in years. Don't let these guys here disuade you from purchasing it who haven't even played the game yet. The reviews are piling on because of the SP but the multiplayer is amazing.

agree I hate people who base games on reviews. They should play it and then judge the game.

The MP is more fun than just about any FPS game I've played and that includes Halo 3, Halo Reach, Bad Company 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 1&2, Medal of Honor, and WaW.  I would recommend it highly.  The reviews are stupid for this game.  They dinged it because they didn't like the graphics and the single-player campaign. 

The single-player campaign is pretty decent-- I'd say it is similar in quality to a  Bad Company 2s single player.  Probably not quite as good as Black Ops single player. 

Can this be clarified by people who have actually played it not actually heard reviews or read reviews. I get the distict people some people are just being anti homefront/thq for no particular reason.

I dont think it will, main reason people will see through the reviews, in people talking about it, there is nothing to assume this is a bad game, it has released at 79 in aus which seems to be our release price atm.

I regret getting the game. I beat the single player story in under 5 hrs. black ops single player was much,much,much, better in my opinion. The cutscenes consist of some still shots and some narraitive after each chapter. The only exception to this is the opening back story narrative. The graphics are bad,if that matter's to you. I felt like I was playing a ps2 game at times. I mean the single player had a couple of interesting set pieces,but it was like it's was there,then it's over with. I mean the single player is fun,but there's just 3 modes. A domination type mode,team death match and a mode that mixes the 2. Then instead of killstreaks,you have battlefield point's. I'm sorry but after playing  all of the top multiplayer games out there,homefront was just a huge letdown for me personally. I'll probably trade it in pretty soon. So,that's my opinion on it.
