Sure you can join, you'll just have to level up your GR since you never played online yet. If rutea is going to start over you guys could level together if you'd like.

i'm gonna start a new job this week and i heard the game comes out in europe on may 20 so i'll start all over again then, will get it as soon as i get my first paycheck, i might take a while to go online since i want to finish at least the first game once  before but since i heard there will be offline quests from NPCs we can reach a decent guild rank before we go online ;)

well it's not being published by sony outside of europe, its a different publisher

That's why I'm cursing SCEA, I'm sure there'd have been some consistency with the EU release and the NA release had they been publishing it.
