I have read multiple hands-on previews of this game and they all say it looks great, but not a single one has mentioned it having the best graphics for a console. 

Maybe I'll buy it and decide for myself.

I've been really light headed lately and when I read that statement I got kinda worried for a second because I thought my brain started repeating itself. Glad it was a typo on your part! *sigh of relief*

crikey this is an opinion, one magazines/sites vantage point is not always 100 percent correct or unquestionable. You have to use your own eyes to make an opinion and guess what I think it competes quite nicely

I can confirm that first hand. I can play Crysis at High (not very high) at 1920 x 1200 with tons of tweaks and mods at around 30 FPS while Crysis 2 MP Demo at advanced setting ran around 40 FPS on my machine at the same resolution.

Cool, I'm downloading the demo on steam atm. If it runs well I'll probably get it. Crysis 2 ran ok on my system. I only have a 1280x1024 monitor so it should be fine.

I'm too lazy to drag the pc over to the big screen and fumble with a mouse and keyboard on my lap. Apart from the sound the effect is the same anyway, 2 ft from a 19 inch screen or 10 ft from a 92 inch screen since I probably need a better graphics card to run it in 1920x1080. Hopefully the demo is good, will be nice to play with mouse and keyboard again.

Hmm won't let me play the demo, can't log in, email address already in use, reset password email is not arriving, ugh I hate pc gaming. Off to make a new email address.

Another update: is the pc demo some kind of sick joke??? Just multiplayer and it only finds 1 server with 12 players which always returns full? WTF???
