Two announcements:

1) Without giving any hints as to the setup of the game, I am intentionally witholding information by wording both kills as "murdered" and having them both red in the OP. It is up to everyone to figure out who/what killed whom and why.

2) I have yet to see this on VGC, so I may catch some flak for this. I'm allowing radish to continue posting to his scummate(s), including posts during the day. His scummate(s) still cannot talk during the day though. Obviously radish was not given a link to the dead quicktopic.(Where people go to continue "playing" on the sidelines)

appreciated. I think both are interesting.

So you guys think the possibility of a vanilla players is very low in a game like this?

I kind of ascribed to the Mafia A and B theory myself. Working from the lore Onyxia works for her father Nealtharion aka Deathwing. This would still leave her brother as an option, and all three have had human disguises to boot. The "Prestor" family would work well as a mafia faction that could be a variety of sizes really, but would logically cap at 3 which would leave 6 total mafia as someone stated earlier as possible.

What ties it together is Kel Thuzad being evil. Admittedly this is an assumption, but prof has responded to my theory and not debunked it. Assuming, for the moment, this means his character and alignment match up (a google search would show it) then that makes 4.  This would be the more Lich King faction, or possible Burning Legion as that is where the power chain ultimately leads. This could again be as big or small as possible, but 2-3 would make the most sense.

Anyone who wants to debunk this can really. Of course I would view that with a certain level of suspicion, but if no one comes out to back my theory then perhaps it is all off base. My disgusting knowledge of Warcraft lore will either prove a weird distraction, or a really unexpected twist for Linkz.

The question is though does linkz really know about world of warcraft? He could have just assigned random characters to  us that he found.

So sorry to trouble you guys, but looking it up, there seems to be several interpretations, what exactly is a vanilla player?

I think it means the basic roles like townie with no night action and cop.

Gotcha.

On another note, I'm seeing some pretty good interpretations by a couple people, but there still seems to be a lack of anything even relatively certain...we shall see if the newbie can catch anything from past posts that hasn't yet been mentioned once my next class is finished :)

editted text back into this ghost post;

I believe radish slipped when he mentioned THE sibling. Every time he mentioned A sibling, he said THE sibling.

"Are you THE sibling"- "I'm not THE other sibling"

I'm surprised I missed this. In the off chance that there actually IS a sibling in the mafia, I first of all doubt that the townie version would know his sibling, but that the mafia would know the townie. So, I am going to go back and look at people radish defended, as well as other players that were defended. (But mainly radish in particular since I know he's mafia)

And yes, this does imply that I'm willing to lynch a sibling townie.

I'm not sure what you're implying here. Correct me if I'm wrong:

You're saying that the Mafia had a chance to exchange their names/roles at the beginning of Day One (which has been common recently), that someone other than radish said "I'm a Sibling, my brother is X" and then radish slipped by using sentences that implied he knew someone in the town was a sibling. And now you want the sibling to sacrifice himself so we can kill the Mafia member by killing his brother?

Warcraft as a series has existed for an extremely long time with an extremely large fanbase. World of Warcraft on its own is a pop culture phenomenon. The more I think about it the more it adds up to. I know I am on to something at this point. My only mistake was not trying to get more names out of people before showing my hand.

Onyxia has a sibiling, but Radis did not has sibling in his role. Nefarion, the son of Neltharion and brother of Onyxia, would make two of the 3 major players of that faction in the game. The lack of sibiling in the role means that it was just flavor text in his role pm he got confused about though. So he asks about the sibling and we get a clue. There would be no reason specifically to include it in his role PM though unless the other one was there too. It adds a bit of flavor to the game, and unless someone blabs of course.

Anyone could prove me wrong, and they haven't.
