Ok, I'm working on my notes right now for my End of Day 2 Summary (After my Day 2 summary)/Beginning of Day 3 Summary (Up to now)...it's like 500 posts I have to go through, so it may take a while, but if everything goes PERFECT...I may even have the post done tonight, but there's no guarantees on that, as I will be working while writing up the notes plus I intend on studying some tonight.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Only one vote and I'm lynched!?!? Why don't you want to answer my questions instead of stalling and attacking me to divert attention?

Signature goes here!

After rereading some posts from Day One and Two, there's not much to get out of dsister's posts that could point to other scum. Most of his Day Two contribution is him arguing with Prof over his Heph vote from Day One.

The only thing I got out of this trip back in time is that although prof ignoring my questions and replies really rubs me the wrong way, his instance on bringing back dsister's contractions on Day Two while everybody ignored it (we were all focused on the nameclaims and roleclaims) has restored my faith in his towniness.

I'll repost my answer to prof's parenting claim maybe this time he'll reply to it:

I don't see how this is parenting, that's how I investigate, you could say I'm more of a "good cop" than a "bad cop" when it comes to asking questions to a suspect. Maybe I should be more aggresive but saying things like "I demand an answer" or "You should give us this information" just isn't me. You just have to look at the post I made for outlaw before the weekend, I said "I'd really like an answer to my question..." not "You better answer my question or else".

My post highlighted contradictions between the version NotStan presented to us and how the day played out, I wanted to know if he had something to say that would explain his behavior.

yeah.... i'm conflicted

"Impaled through his chest was a large blade, adorned with an animal painted on it that perhaps only Gnizmo himself would recognize."

he nameclaimed druid (shapeshifters) but druids only use daggers not swords....This clue is torturing me, as I don't see who it could fit ^^.

in any case i'm still at #1 lynch ABC for last mafia. The parenting post didn't convince me much.

oh ho ho ho

You won't live long now after that post. That was a huge mistake trucks. Massive.

I'll chronicle your posts. Can't believe I didn't see this before:

Good morning to everyone except dsister!
Seems things got started without me last night. First order of business:

FoS: NotStan
He clearly referred to dsister as Apple (Happles) then threatened him with a knife. That's some pretty incriminating evidence.

mentions both mafia in first post. Takes part in the orange discussion.

TruckOSaurus said:

So from the video we can figure out that A Bad Clown distracts the victim while NotStan knifes them. It seems NotStan is our biggest threat here.

Jokingly implies notstan is mafia. Possibly implicating abc as well.

1 logic tells me they are bad but game happening show they are almost mandatory... of course game history shows they are always wrongfull. 2 i do it more as a townie than a mafia 3 exhaustion

WHAAAAAAT? Explanation please?

I noted in my potals that truck was the first to recognize this. Mafia are known for addressing things immediately. Not to mention, dsis was asking questions to push a lynch (which I called him out on), and trucks here is also leaning on Heph.

TruckOSaurus said:

You talk a lot about how Final-Fan lies with his vote (though I don't agree with your interpretation of his voting pattern) but you left out what kind of lie you would be likely to use as a townie looking for scum. Are you talking about traps like prof's "Did you figure out Wonk was the doctor?" ploy?

In this rebuttal to Heph, defends FF, possibly trying to buddy with ff or make heph look bad.

TruckOSaurus said:

I don't think a person's playstyle can be summarized by "Do you lie as town or not?". You're jumping to conclusions here.

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions" that's what comes to mind when I'm thinking about a lying townie. They start out with the best intentions (I'm gonna find scum!) but inevitably it ends up costing the town big time whether it's a mislynch or just a huge waste of time.

In this response to Heph, makes a case that Heph will be costly to the town.

TruckOSaurus said:
theprof00 said:

That leads me to believe that you are trying to create discussion where none really exists (1); Rationalizing your vote (despite your carefree attitude about voting), and typically coming off as "safe" and "supported".

Also, I agree wit Heph. Lying is important for townies. I think townies should tell the truth as much as possible, but there are always good reasons to lie. I don't think liars should always be lynched as the meta rule states, but people who are caught in a lie should be.

There's a difference between lying and being caught in a lie (2).

1) What's wrong with creating discussion? Any Day One discussion has to be "artificially created" since there's nothing to go on at that point.

2) There's goes my hopes for gambit-free prof.

Defends dsis. 2) (didn't notice this til now) Directly implies that I'm a townie, as a gambit is a townie tactic. A gambit done as mafia is just regular mafia play. "Gambit" is inherently town.

TruckOSaurus said:

The doctor just roleclaimed, that's bad for the town. :P

Seriously, the rare circumstances I mentionned in my reply to dsister involve a power role questionned about who he is but if we take your little scenario in consideration:

- If the doctor roleclaimed, it's because he was about to be lynched (or else he's an idiot)

- A doctor who can protect himself is rare and one that can do so two nights in a row is practically unheard of (on VGC at least). So someone hearing that claim could very well decide he's lying and hammer him.

Now, I know there are ways to fix your scenario so the doctor doesn't claim to have protected himself twice and still retain the benefits you mentionned but as you can see, lying is very risky business and if you forget a little detail (like above) you'll get caught and the consequences will be detrimental to the town.

Continuing on Heph, lying is bad, etc etc

TruckOSaurus said:
Hephaestos said:

I've never had that limitation as doctor (heck I even had 2 heals at once ^^) and I never saw a doc saying he could not protect himself (as much as I recall).

In any case, yes there is often a risk... but isn't the saying something like "no risk, no gain"?

Was that the super powered God of War game?

Downplays Heph's point by calling it "the SUPER POWERED game".

Not to mention that those three question are all day 1 discussion topics from previous games...

Wasn't it Trucks who brought up the discussion of townies lying in a previous game? And how many times are we to discuss day 1 lynches or lurkers on the first day?

The more I think about dsister's post the more irked I become.

Yes truck brought that up in the sailor moon game

and he was Mafia!!

To be fair it had nothing to do with me being Mafia since I had mentionned it in the sign-up thread before I got my role.

Undermining the point against dsis, even if he is "being fair".

Clearly inferring that you are not scum this game, but who in their right mind would make such a clear statement that they are on the good side...its as if you want the mafia to kill you, only they wouldn't be able to if you were a mafia member as well.

Vote: hatmoza

The underlined doesn't make sense. All hatmoza said was "I'm protown", the Mafia already knows that so that doesn't put him more at risk than any other townie.

You're right when you say this kind of post is suspicious but hatmoza has a tendancy to roleclaim on Day One and I remember him making the same kind of post after getting a pro-town role after a string of scum roles (and he was really town).

Not sure yet what this is. Could be an example of "parenting". Or it could be buddying with Hat. Hat would later consider trucks his only confidant.

Possible parenting.

Bandwagon? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has a vote on ABC,  I also previously had an FoS on ABC before

and I was getting bored.

Even if you're the first the vote for him, you kinda jumped at the first chance to vote for A Bad Clown but, as you said, you FoSed him before (I didn't remember that) so it does make your move a little less brash that I thought.

MG's response to truck. Suddenly, trucks is a little more understanding.

TruckOSaurus said:

Another point (although we're in no danger of that right now): people voting because they were bored got Wonk (the doctor) lynched last game.

nothing much here.

"I was getting bored" suggests that he'd be less bored if the game moved onto night 1?

Well there was a 7 hour gap between Heph's post (4:24 EST) and Gnizmo's post (11:27 EST) I'm guessing Metal_Gear's boredom comes from this lack of activity. Seems he was itching to post but needed someone to initate the day's conversation. Not too sure what this means though.

parenting. But also, finishes up by implying MG was waiting for others to post, yet has no idea what that could mean.
(Like we all don't get the message loud and clear)

Exactly.

All I have is this thread to keep me occupied during march break.

So this means you could have upgraded your FoS to a vote without having to wait for Gnizmo to voice his suspicions of him?

continues chipping away at MG

The day is a vote away from ending with no lynch is there anything you want to talk about before the day ends?

I don't think so, Metal_Gear's vote still bugs me a little but it's nothing that warrants a lynch.

not sure what this shows. Could've made a case, but abandoned it.

<3 You Trucks

Maybe we should lynch you instead because you'll deceive us all if you're scum (that goes for Heph too!). :P

More jokes. This time about dsis being mafia. So far his only jokes about who could be mafia are ABC, Notstan, Dsis, Heph

Why would I want to make Archimonde happy?

Also maybe some of the other players who haven't voted do have something meaningful to add to today so I'll give them the chance to speak and hammer the no lynch.

pro-town attitude giving players a chance to speak?  No real discussion was happening at this point in the day.
