You don't need to completely play something to say it's shit.

What you say cannot apply to critics, a person that has to observe every piece of infomation of what he is criticizing. So your point is not valid on this case. Is a critic now a mere casual game player?

1st he played more of the game than probably anyone here combined so that automatically makes his opinion more valid than anyone on this post IMHO.
2nd he played through the main campaign, since when did one have to play every single thing to give a fair review??? Playing through the campaign should be enough. why should he force himself beyond that to play something he really doesnt like??
Ima going to pass on this game, not cause of this review but because the file download is too big. anything higher than 5 gigs is stupid to me. theres a bluray freaking use it Sega. The game has to be spectaclar for me to get that. im running outta space and after playing #3 ill wait for a price drop or i clear my harddrive. not that 3 was bad it was good not great
yakuza 3 was tops, yakuza 4 is better yet gets much lower score from same fanboy driven review site.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

This.
And Yakuza 4 got better score on Famitsu and Edge Magazine than Yakuza 3.
If a critic doesn't like some game genre he can't criticize it, because he will play like a casual gamer. He will analyze the game with preconceptions. A critic who likes RPGs is more suited to do this kind of review, because Yakuza games have many sidequests and mini-games that are a essential part to really enjoying it.

Is Yakuza 4 available for Digital Download? Did not know about that...

Yakuza 4 is been available in Japan for a year now, so obviously there are people that have played the darn game, before IGN played it.
