There's a ton of stuff to do. You could spend dozens of hours on the side quests. However, I won't because the game mechanics just feel old.
How can we trust on a reviewer that did not play all that a game has to offer?! Just absurd.

While I do agree with some of his points, I'll definitely buy it and love the shit out of it like I did with 3. So suck it IGN.

it's Yakuza, that's all!
there is no rating it!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I totally agree with you! It is a very japanese game. One of the best games around if you can appreciate it. For me is one of the best franchises since PS2.

yeah thats like watchin a movie for 20 minutes and then go out and say that its wack...DAMN these reviewers
same happened with Gran Turismo 5...some Reviewers only played like 5% of it and then reviewed it "RollEyes"

I know, right?
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
Oh come on! Most of us care about reviews, even if we deny it. I personally completely ignore all the reviews from Ign, but I think that when most reviewers agree that a game is bad, then it probably is.
Of course there are exceptions, such as the Fight, but still the game did not sell well at all, despite being great according to most users on this site. Most games that get really bad reviews don't sell well at all, especially on the ps360. Wii is a different case considering how well games like Just Dance or Wii play have sold so far.
OT: I'm definitely getting this game in a few months, when the price drops significantly (got Yakuza 3 for £15).

the state current reviews are just sad.....
