1. PhyreEngine, NIS uses it for a lot of their PS3 titles.
2. They know where their audience is.

That's a stretch. I am interested in the Disgaea games but I am not going to plunk down a few hundreds just to get a console to play it.
It's a lost sale.

It's not their only game. Besides, manifest your interest into a purchase of Disgaea DS. You have one, as I see.

It's the best one in the series still - well, with the omission of 4, haven't played it yet.

Okay. If they release D4 or D5 on 3DS, I'll buy it. Deal?

Lol, you better request it then. You actally can, check the NISA website.
Cause Microsoft dont know this franchise and dont want it on Xbox...and NIS probably dont care about it...also why they should care...and why every 3rd party developer should make their games multiplat?you could ask the same thing with so many other games...

Damn straight! I lend my voice in recommending this game to you Galaki, trust Xen on this, he might be a shmup heathen but I least I cannot fault his taste on SRPG.
I only regret that I miss this game on the PS2... thank god for the PSP! I don't think I've ever laugh so hard in a video game as I did playing this game and the story's combination of fantastic humour and sympathetic characters made a cliche story shine with such vibrancy that it could just about rival any epic yarn spun by Square in it's prime (and definitely better than the crap they shoved in my face with XIII). Combine that with a gameplay that felt like the consumption of a pill that was equal part opium and hashish mixed to form heaven on earth...
God in his heaven!!! This is one of my top 10 game of all time. GET IT Galaki! Don't let the 'old-ness' of the game make you miss one of the greatest RPG of all time.

Couldn't have said it better. It's easily one of the PS2's top 5 games.
