Forums - Gaming - Should 'core' gamers be accepting of innovation despite changes?

well its one thing for them to say they are and another for them to follow through. more often then not i'll side with my fellow gamers while i may not matter to me (Infamous 2' s lead character change)

if the game is awsume or beter then the first when its finished then you faut for nothing in the end.

innovation over everything i always say.

it has nothing to do with innovation or casualizing or anything like that, the core gamers you are referring to are just whiny nerd weaboos who cannot accept change in anything, especially a series they like

i mean, theres so many new ideas, artstyles, and all around freshness in games that listetning to a small, but vocal minority is silly. look at ff13, i mean core ff fans hated it, but its the same for core dragon age fans (to be recent), and core zelda fans.

There is no need for borderline racism.

Weeaboo is a meme, not a racial slur.

Hence the use of Borderline" instead of out and out because It's slander. But btw any slang term used to describe a racial group is basically in some way a racial slur like the expression "JAP" it is actually very resist but not meany Westerners know that and still use it by accident.

You are confusing real racism with something that clearly is not. The word you mentioned is very racist and I'm sure the vast majority of westerners do know this and do not use the word. The word weeaboo has nothing to do with Japanese people or any racial group in particular.

but It's still slander of a artiular group and a lot of Westerners use that word not relising  that it is racist btw.

edit: I am just saying there is no need for slander or racisim directed towords anyone indidual or group in this world.
