Has anyone seen the homefront add on youtube. Its like its an breaking news and you believe North Korea has attacked someone. That is an great advertising pull because everyone would press it lol.
its like 1 million times better than anything out of ea marketing department... take notes guys!
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
This is been around for a while, and the start of my pet peeve for the series. I thought it was some kind of red alert style screen play where everyone was in on the great joke. But alas, it was taking itself SERIOUSLY and the laughter dead a painful and stupid death.
Here is a arg for last year's singularity, another one of the so-so game that didn't really make any splash. The video however was plain awesome:

It seems that theses mediokre shooters put more effort into these Fictional sudo real back story's then the Gameplay itself.

*Sigh*
Pretty much, I enjoyed the arg more than I did the actual game. I will say though that without this arg I probably wouldn't even have given singularity that casual glance.
Homefront though, there is an almost irrational hatred for this game. I know that they have a detailed backstory on how the plot occurs and that if you're willing to immerse yourself into the world, it might even prove to be a pretty decent story but I cannot. The more I hear about the story and the more media publication gush praise at it, more I hate the game, its completely unfair to kaos studio but I simply cannot give this game the benefit of the doubt. I will say though that the multiplayer looks pretty nice, a blend of Cod's frenetic pacing and Bad Company's vehicular combat.
