Umm, iPhone4 isnt "at least 4x as expensive" as 360, since the vast, vast majority of people buy phones on contract subsidized for about 199.

MS just pay's for an tonne of advertising. Kinect has been budgeted 500 million dollars for marketing, 500 HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!. Thats alot of adds

While this is certainly true, i think most of us just didn't believe a Wii 2 device would have the same attraction to Christmas 2010 buyers. It owned everyone for the last few months, simple as that.
