Is there a baseball discussion thread?

God, if there ism my post count is about to go up to an unsettling level.....

I don't have the time right now, but if someone does, I'll second that thought...although I'd probably teetor off in July when my M's are done :(

No, but as far as Baseball games go...

the Show is the best... unless the others have hugely improved this year.

If anyone is on the fence... it's the game to get.

Though I wish "The Life" mode would add stuff you could buy.

Like trainging equipment to get stats up quicker or just fancy cars and houses and shit.

I mean, what's the point of going for a bigger contract if that money doesn't do anything.

They should rip off MLB Power Pros in that regard.

Maybe also add in some houses you could pimp out with stuff ala Animal Crossing or whatever.

Give people the option of living the "Glamour" side too and give people a reason to aim for a higher paycheck rather then just... "points."

It'd be great to have some tension about picking which team you wanna play for.

I already got the game.... Its amazing... Ive been playing it off and on all day. One feature thats new if you havnt kept up with the game is using the analog sticks for hitting... alot different than last year,,, Its actually pretty hard at first, but after a few inning i had the hang of it... the move feature in this game with home run derby is pretty kewl, reminds me of baseball on wii sports, but we all know that was alot of fun.... The only negative part of this game to me was the loading times are long... but other than that i give this game a 9.6 out of 10.... the best sports game this year for me

EDIT: my friend got the 2k version, and he said its glitchy as hell.... he said he hit a foul boul and the game gave him a out and a home run for it hahahaha... and his player got stuck in the wall at wrigley field, and he said another one too but i dont remember that one,,,, so mlb 11 is still the king it appears... Hope this helps with some people deciding....

I love handegg games..... Well except the fact ea makes it.... they bug me with it... it seems like they took last years game, made 2011 stickers and slapped em on the 2010 disc and called it a new game
