Forums - Sony - Playstation 3 Shipments To Be Seized In US?

i believe i spotted a contradiction there!

if the injunction is only for the netherlands, how would that affect the PS3's in the rest of Europe?

sure, Sony is importing most of their PS3's through the Netherlands to europe, but right now, nothing stops them from changing that. it may be an annoyance for Sony, but in no way is it as seroius as it sounds.

Netherlands is where they are shipped for most of Europe. Not a contradiction

why are you repeating what i wrote in my post?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

because from that first line it looks like you didnt understand. It is as difficult as it sounds. It is not simply as easy to change their loading bays. They have a contract with Netherlands or whoever the f' they are dealing with. Plus as long as it is a country that abides by the larger European standing there will be an injunction there. If they are now talking about a US one this is bigger than we originally thought imo

its not selling its shipping, currently they can't ship to Netherlands which is the feeding route to Europe. If this gets done in the US then the shipping point to Europe will be stopped

i haven't said it was easy, but that is in my post as well.

but regarding their contract, you seem to have a deep insight into sonys shipment dealings. do you have s a source to back this up with?

It has been stated in nearly every article the shipment area is Netherlands. They would obviously have a contract otherwise the injunction would be pointless.

In the US I doubt there is just one, though I assumed there was more then one in Europe tbh. I think Australia has 1 for our own from memory.

Lolwut? MS now sponsors LG, LG is not a corner shop, it can afford it's own legal fees so I don't see where the assumption that a competitor in one market(VG) would support the company that is suing it at the present. Some people take this whole "Worship your console" thing a bit too religiously.

soo there should be no drop in sales unless they have to stop shipping to the US ??

MS is behind this and is probably funding the entire exercise.

but we have the remember that sony has probably done this many times with its millions of patents.

You do know that Microsoft is one of Sony's biggest partners and vice versa. Just because they are competitors in the video game market doesn't mean they are mortal enemies.

he has said it in the other thread, it is kinda getting old imo

no i haven't
