Forums - Microsoft - New Too Human Video: Berserker + Info

In “Too Human”, you can customize your character from a variety of classes, alignments and specializations. Rather than talk about any of these specifically, I thought I would simply show one of my favorite character set-ups in the following video: The Berserker.

With this specific selection, the player can focus on dual-wield weapons (in this case swords) and increase speed and damage output. As your combo level goes up (indicated in the HUD from the right circle with the number 2 later going to 3), the player moves faster and slides faster. (Keep in mind that in this video the character is at a very low level – it gets even faster at higher levels and you specialize further.) In this short video take, we focused on showing you the speed and power of the Berserker melee attacks. We will show the advanced combat moves and gun play next year!

Have a very happy holiday and a great New Year! We are looking forward to seeing the reaction to “Too Human’s” co-op demonstrations and demo on Market Place in the New Year.

Looking good! The sound of him slashing those robots is very visceral. I'm looking forward to this.

I it just me or does Too Human look like it's gonna be a massive dissapointment? It just doesn't seem that great for all the time it's taken to create this game.

too human is not a game to watch and be like "kick ass" the combat is by analog and alot of people forget this.

Its not an action game its a rpg.

btw it looks great i cannot wait for the 4 man coop and different classes

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

That actually looks surprisingly fun.

It's starting to shape up a bit better than before. I hope it turns out well, because I really like Silicon Knights.

Just kiss the tip.

I hope all that blur was due to the video and not in the game...

I'm looking forward to this, but that level of blur is going to make me motion sick on my projection screen.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

Looks excellent. Hope the game comes out soon and does really well...

Silicon Knights is good for the industry...

I think it's just the feed that looks like that. It's squished. I've seen HD videos of Too Human, and they look really good. The co-op will probably be fun as hell. This is kinda like Diablo for me.

I hope it turns out well (love Eternal Darkness!)... but when I think "Action" game with heavy RPG elements - only Daikatana comes to mind... :(
