The sales drop in NA but not so much in Europe and Japan .The Japan holidays start posterior to ours (just started some 10 days ago) and in Europe the Christmas gifts arent usually very expensive ,the expensive ones are more for new year and specially for 5 january that is our thanksgiving day in many countries (although not all of them ) .

Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Which countries is that in? I'm in the UK and I've never heard of people giving new year gifts and don't know what happens on Jan 5th. Gifts only really get given for Christmas (unless a family follows another religion) and birthdays here, or for special events like passing exams.

No maybe its been OVERTRACKED for wii. I hate your trollish comments seriously, talon man just said there's a chance the wii has been over tracekd severley.
Lets just get along.

Nope, he siad that he was wondering whether ioi had counted the rainchecks in the numbers, doubtful, no when ioi stated last week about the sales he was talking about the released Wii consoles on Sunday, I doubt Wii has been overtracked

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

SIR AVINASH IS FAR SUPERIOR TO YOUR WORTHLESS BREATH. YOU TROLL AND STAMPEDE THESE LANDS LIKE A FOOL. BURN IN THE DEPTHS OF THE GREAT UNDERWORLD, AND ASPIRE TO BE ME WHEN YOU EMERGE.

i think diomedes meant 6th january, while there "santa" is who give you the presents, here they are "the three wise men", i didn't know that they were so unpopular there :P.

Because of that, i hope the first week of january to be the biggest of the year in spain

i have looked at last year charts, and it seems that ioi didn't take into account this, because sales are very high in the week ending the 24th but the weeks after, the sales are lower, which is not logical, because of what i said before.
