Forums - General - March Movies. finally!!!!! Some decent movies coming out!

so, movies thus far in 2011 has been the sh**.  Gnomeo and Juliet is the best thing yet!   But things are finally looking up in March.

March 4:    "Rango" with Johnny Depp.  Looks more for mature audiences (which is good) and not for kids so I guess Gnomeo will continue to do well.  I'm watching Rango on Saturday!

"The Adjustment Bureau" with Matt Damon.  Looks decent but I'll wait for the DVd.

"Beastly" and "Take Me Home Tonight":  No thank you.

March 11:  "Battle: Los Angeles"  yes and hell yes.  I'll watch this on opening night.  it's Blackhawk Down meets Independence Day.  Can't go wrong.

"Mars need Moms"  Disney has made some good movies so I might take my 10 yr old to see this.

                     "Red Riding Hood"  no thanks.

March 18:  "Paul"  Just watched the preview and it looks hilarious.  talking alien funny guy - cool.

"Limitless"  somewhat different drug movie.  Not appealing enough

"The Lincoln Lawyer"     I don't think Matthesw McConaughey is a good actor.  Not gonna see it - even on dvd.

March 25:  "Sucker Punch"  My second most anticipated movie of the month (after Battle: L.A.).  Will there be a video game based on this movie?

"Diary of a Wimpy Kid"  I hated the first one.

So, there will be three movies I'll definitely see in march!  That's two more than jan. and Feb. combined.

Of those the two highlighted are must sees for me, though I will probably see Rango as well. I'm also tempted to see Lincoln Lawyer simply because it has Ryan Phillipe and I like most of his movies.

That's the only movie I want to see out of that list.

Sucker Punch and Battle: Los Angeles for me this month. Perhaps Rango.

just saw The Adjustment Bureau last night and the movies was good but not great, the end was such a letdown :( but Emily Blunt rocks in every movie

Battle Los Angeles seems to be the only one that sort of attracts me to the cinema. I lost faith in cinema recently, I've seen so many films that I'd push into "Shittier than crap" section of my mind that I just can't be bothered to go there anymore.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

ok, save your money and skip Rango.

Animation is awesome, but it's slow, and the story is confusing at best. It was better than ok, but I should have waited for the DVD.

SUCKER PUNCH!!!!
