Can't believe people are still arguing about this.

SMB was $10 for the first month on XBLA.

SMB was $10 to preorder for a week on steam.  It released for $15, and stayed that price for about three weeks.  It was $3.75 for two days during the holiday sale.  It was $7.49 for the rest of the two week sale, and went back to $15 afterwards and ever since.

so what are the actual sales of the steam meat boy?

Around 220k with half of them from the two week holiday sale.

The only unclear things are if they were either comparing the same launch periods for pre holiday sales, or if they were comparing the amount of money that actually went to them.  The second one is likely since steam is rumored to take 30-40% compared to as much as 65% for xbla.

but thats the total pc sales....surely direct2drive contributed some to the PC number...it was only released a few days after the steam one.  

They pretty much only refer to steam.  I'd guess D2D sales are either negligible or they just lumped them in with steam.
